MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS
Living with a mental health condition can be deeply difficult and disabling, and it can affect every part of your life.
Your NeuroRescue Program is designed to support the brain systems involved in mood, stress and emotional regulation, with the goal of helping you feel more in control and take steps on your path back to the life you want to live. Our care works alongside your physician, therapist, psychiatrist and other mental health providers, never in place of them. Please don’t change or stop any medication without talking with your prescriber.
If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or call 911.
WHAT IS A MENTAL HEALTH CONDITION?
Mental health conditions are disorders that affect your thinking, mood and behavior. They are different from the normal ups and downs everyone has at times. Changes in mood, thinking or behavior become a mental health condition when they are severe or last long enough to affect your ability to function in daily life. A mental health condition can be extremely hard to live with. It can strain your relationships, your schooling and your work. It can make it harder to connect with other people, leave you feeling alone and affect every part of your life.

HOW WE CAN HELP
Many brain pathways are involved in regulating mood, stress and emotions, and they can stop working well in many different ways. That’s why we look closely at the pathways and systems that may be contributing to your symptoms. We use computerized testing and a detailed neurological exam to help identify which systems are struggling, and we use that information to create a rehabilitation plan designed for you, with the goal of helping you feel more in control of your emotions and get back to living the life you want. Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) may also be an option for some adults. At our clinic, TMS is provided by our psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, who will evaluate whether it may be appropriate for you. Read More
RESEARCH-BASED CARE
We use clinical research to help guide treatment plans designed for you, with the goal of helping reduce anxiety and helping you feel more in control. Some of that reseach can be found here. Learn More
“The ADAA estimates approximately 40 million people over the age of 18 live with anxiety disorders, and only 36.9% of them are pursuing treatment.”
“Utilizing sophisticated cognitive training systems, we are able to direct neuroplasticity in the parts of the brain that are impaired by anxiety. This allows the development of improved behaviors that reduce anxiety and panic disorder.”
